The role of Business development executive is an integral part of the sales process and puzzle. You will be be the first point of call and on the forefront identifying new opportunities with both existing and new partnerships.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive and driven sales executive with a passion for new technology and a real want to drive revenue for a progressive tech company.
Key Responbilities
- Source new sales opportunities through identification of key decision makers and develop insights to open lines of communication
- Outbound and inbound lead follow up through various channels including business social channels, outbound calling and email campaigns
- Become engrained with clients to develop a strong understanding of the business needs and requirements to be able to adapt and personalise propositions
- Provide solutions to clients needs and potential problems which arise
- Close sales and provide post sale follow ups to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain and develop a buoyant pipeline
- Collaborate with internal partners to provide compelling and high value propositions
- Hold online demonstrations to prospects, take responsibility to all social media and collaboration platform presentation to close on opportunities
- Work closely with Product and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and to provide feedback on the market trends
Skills and Experience
- Proactive and commercially driven mindset with the ability to identify upselling opportunities
- High achiever with a proven track record of hitting targets
- Experience of B2B sales channels including linked in for lead conversion and generation
- A self starter with the ability to work remotely
- Proven sales experience working with value selling methodologies, skills, and mindset
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Proven ability to use LinkedIn and other B2B social tools
- Proficient with web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to engage and influence CxO’s
